A Nice Rainy Evening - Coffee Meet

Post - 5 July, 2012; 20.20 PM

Let me remember Today; Thursday Evening

Thanks Pinaki.........
Thanks Suvomoy.........
Thanks Mr. Gopal Mukherjee.......
Thanks Krishnendu.........

Let me recollect the old sweet memories of our last Evening Meet on 6 February, 2012 at Hotel Sojourn.  It was a macro level meet along with our mentors.

Today, we enjoyed a nice rainy evening for an hour or so; a micro level Coffee Meet which is awesome. I feel deeply honoured that our bonding remains as before and still sky high. Our School of Thought, Wave Length, Dedication are rock solid with cement bonding. I believe, it will remain united for decades.

We discussed few critical aspects of PDC, exchanged opinion on the fate of Chinese Projects along with adverse effect of their outsourced equipments, Spares in particular. Also, we discussed about the BOOT adopted by HEPL for their Project including the high spirit of Amir's much talked about TV episode Satyamev Jayate and its impact on our Society.

Krisnendu was almost silent.  He tried to set right my mobile as the incoming call sound level was feeble.

The restricted South Indian menu of the evening meet with hot Coffee was delicious and tasty.

Pinaki has given a commitment to forward the mail regarding abandoned/dumped Chinese Projects.

Suvomoy opened my blog instantly. I wish he will visit it regularly and send his valuable comments.

Friends, keep in good health. Please maintain your courageous dedicated activities with honesty, integrity, transparency and pro-activeness for the well being of our Organization.   Oppose collectively all the destructive acts of evil elements to save our Organization from a possible threat of collapse.

Hope to meet you all in the next month's last Friday evening at the same venue, same time.

Good Night.........Best wishes........Debabrata Dey

Sir,
Thanks for your blog. Regarding my silence I want to draw your attention that the meaning of silence is as follows:

si·lent   [sahy-luhnt]
adjective
1. making no sound; quiet; still: a silent motor.
2. refraining from speech.
3. speechless; mute.
4. not inclined to speak; taciturn; reticent.
5. characterized by absence of speech or sound: a silent prayer.
6. unspoken; tacit: a silent assent.
7. omitting mention of something, as in a narrative: The records are silent about this crime.
8. inactive or quiescent, as a volcano.
9. not sounded or pronounced: The “b” in “doubt” is a silent letter.
10. Movies . not having spoken dialogue or a soundtrack.
11. Medicine/Medical . producing no symptoms: silent gallstones.

I think in my case Pt. no. 3 is applicable.

I enjoyed a lot after so many days.

Thanks to all and Regards.

Dear Krishnendu,

THANKS for posting such an excellent observation. In my opinion you paid lot of respect to your esteemed predecessors as you normally used to do. However, I think, in your case, perhaps, Point Nos. 3 & 5 (as per your narration) are applicable.

Best Wishes,

Debabrata Dey

Dear Suvo,

Perhaps, Piyaji and Beguni from Kalika (near College Square) that you or Pinaki used to bring on Saturdays is something very special. Oh, dear, I miss it like anything for last 6 months.....or may be more.....
