My Last Day Message

From the desk of Executive Director (Projects), WBPDCL

DEEP AND SINCERE GRATITUDE TO MY COLLEAGUES

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

Let me recollect the undying memory of those good old days when we worked together, shared common platform for the well being of our Organization to ensure win-win situation in most of the cases, if not all.  By gone are the days when there was perfect harmonization of wave length in favour of a collective consensus to resolve so many critical issues during my long journey of around 36 years. I am extremely fortunate and also feel myself proud while enjoying your august company during such a long period.

I owe to you all, where sky is the limit, for extending your absolute help, support and cooperation during the good/bad days of my long innings in WBPDCL (erstwhile WBSEB).

During my last phase there was slow down in navigation; a road block upsetting apt guidance and initiative to implant motivation amongst all the employees. As a result, there was descent to infuse sense of ownership and confidence for the organization.

We all know that the organization comprises of human beings with emotions; unless a succession matrix is put in place the employees would start feeling that they are orphan.

The fact remains, I am retiring from WBPDCL and may not be able to share same platform under single umbrella from tomorrow onwards.  Finally, I would like to convey my sincere thanks to you and to your family; my earnest gratitude to you in particular.

Above Message was sent to my esteemed Colleagues on 30 December, 2011 prior to my retirement from WBPDCL on 31 December, 2011.
